Council Governance & Task Breakdown
The Semantic Backbone Council is organized into explicit structural tiers to ensure our core standard remains completely objective, while keeping our toolkits agile, practical, and highly accessible to the broader tech community.
The Core:
Who: Council Chair + Founding Members
Primary Tasks:
- Protect and maintain the foundational 4 Core Principles.
- Formally approve and sign off on objective enterprise governance standards.
- Evangelize the SBB vision to international steering committees, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders.
The Playbook:
Who: Vice-Chair + Invited Industry & Academic Members
Primary Tasks:
- Develop, pressure-test, and maintain the operational SBC Playbook deliverables.
- Vet, nominate, and invite expert industry contributors into the technical panels.
- Produce rigorous educational materials, architectural blueprints, and implementation guides.
- Actively challenge “The Core” to ensure standards evolve alongside real-world engineering realities.
The Community:
Who: Community Manager + Registered Members (Open to Everyone)
Primary Tasks:
- Distribute open-access educational materials and run introductory technical webinars.
- Run outreach programs to attract new developers, data scientists, and startup innovators.
- Monitor, collect, and critically assess global market news, technology stack migrations, and emerging AI trends.
